A table centerpiece is one of the most focal décor elements of the wedding reception. By virtue of its placement on each and every guest table, this is the single most looked-at part of the entire wedding. For this reason, it has to be outstanding (so it "stands out"!).

A table centrepiece has to:

• be eye-catching yet not overpowering
• it must also allow room on the table for table settings and favours
• be large enough to capture people's attention but not so large that it is impossible for guests to see and speak to one another across the table.

That is a lot of requirements, just for one décor element! So, often, when budget is of a concern, brides can focus mainly on their table centerpieces and not worry about having too much other décor.

Personalisation brings your own identity to your wedding and instantly makes the day all the more special and memorable for you and your wedding guests. The usual way is to have your monograms on the centrepieces, the favours, the cake etc. But you can do more (and bigger!) Here is a new idea we just saw:

Personalised Wedding Signs (for the reception)

Place a large, custom sign on the wall behind the cake table, or the guest book table or even the gift table. Even though the tables themselves may have some sort of décor on them, the walls often go undecorated and as a result, end up looking plain and boring compared to the rest of the venue. So, instead of a curtain, or flowers (or some generic painting that your venue has on that wall!) you make a statement, right away and set the tone for the night.

A Post-Wedding, post-Trash-the-Dress, photo shoot

There is a very very interesting story behind this beautiful photograph. We are going to let the shooter, Kyla Mae, tell us how this came to be, exactly:

Kristina originally did her wedding photos with another photographer, a long time ago. But they were not quite happy with the pics, so we did a second, post-wedding, trash-the-dress fun shoot that was more their style (her and her hubby are both construction workers; so we did the non-traditional pics at a construction site!) Since we had pieces of the (trashed!) dress still remaining, we decided to follow up with yet another photo-shoot!
